We believe in growing together and that is why, for every product we sell, we plant a tree in India. This reflects our philosophy that is based on clean, conscious and responsible principles.
Our vision is of a world of equal opportunities with the right to a good quality of life. It is said that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step – and as one of our first steps, we are helping develop greener and cleaner environments for our artisans in India.
According to the Global Forest Watch, India has lost more than 2 million hectares of tree cover over the last 20 years, equivalent to a 5.3% decrease since 2000. It is also a well-known fact that most major cities in India have poor air quality. We want to be part of reversing these sad facts, and to this end, we have formed a meaningful partnership with the SankalpTaru Foundation.
SankalpTaru Foundation is an NGO based in India. They aim to spread greenery with their core philosophy of “planting trees for the people, by the people”. Having planted and protected close to a million trees across 21 states in some of the majorly polluted cities of India, they believe in maximising socio-environmental impact and successfully fighting back against pollution.
In cooperation with SankalpTaru we strive to do our small part to give back to the planet we all call home.
